The Jump Experts series is a terrific introduction to the world of vertical jump training and jumping higher. It offers the views of a variety of different strength and conditioning coaches on how best to maximize your vertical jump. Is this Jump Higher program worth your hard earned dollars? Read on to find out.

This broad range of views gives the reader a great introduction to some of the many things that can be done to improve your vertical jump and jumping higher. It also shows just how much more there is to vertical jump training besides lifting weights and doing plyometrics. The downside to all this information is that it does distort the picture as to the level of importance of the different training niches. As an example, the experts whose area of specialty is kettlebell training naturally talk up its effectiveness. The rubber band experts talk up the use of rubber bands etc. It should be noted that these different methods can all certainly help, but like all jump higher training methods, alone they are not the answer. That aside, most of the jump higher experts do actually show terrific understanding of the broader requirements of vertical jumping and explain nicely what sorts of things you can do to jump higher fast.
Customization

In this regard it lets the athlete down. A number of the people included do say an athlete should focus on their weaknesses (which by the way is perhaps the single best bit of vertical jump/jump higher training advice anyone can give), but there is no guidance on how to determine what your weaknesses really are. If you compare this to say, The Jump Manual or the Jump Developement Bible Jump Higher Program,which determines what the focus of your jump higher training should be, well Jump Experts is clearly not in the same league.

Jump Experts Jump Higher Program costs $59.95. How well you perceive its value will depend entirely on what you are after. If you want a Jump Higher program that tells you exactly what exercises etc to do that is customized to your needs, buy the Jump Manual or the The Developement Jump Bible. As a program The Developement Jump Bible it is cheaper and more in line with your needs.
On the other hand, if you are a seasoned jump trainer after some fresh input and ideas, then you will no doubt find that it has plenty to offer and is a well worth the price.
Conclusion
From a purely informational point of view, we thought Jump Experts Jump Higher Program was about a C-. To many head involved contradicting one another. To many Cheifs not enough Indians. When comparing this Jump Higher Program to my two favorites they are not even in the same category! Going forward it has given us plenty of ideas to help keep our training fresh and interesting. As a jump higher program however it lacks the necessary specificity to the individual athlete to really be any good. Our final word on this jump higher package is that it is a great concept that has been put together nicely. It gives you wonderful coverage on a range of ideas devoted to jumping higher. It isn't however a pure training program, and probably shouldn't have been marketed that way. None the less, there is plenty of quality training information provided to give you a greater understanding of whats involved in developing your vertical and jumping higher but this particular jump higher program ranks at the bottom of my list!

Verdict:
I am not sold on this Jump Higher software advising the athlete what exercises to perform with no one on one coaching. I mean this product will increase your vertical leap and will allow the athlete to Jump Higher but without any one on one coaching your results may or may not suffer as a result.  I mean personally we are better than computers I am I right or wrong here? On a scale out of 10  and the lack of time this Jump Higher Program has been on the market. I give this particular Jump Higher Program 6.5. So that’s it for this Vertical Mastery Review.

Serious Ups Jump Higher system was discovered by Otto Ruebsamen by accident while trying to develop a routine for increasing his own vertical leap.

The creator claims that with jaw dropping results that will have you Jumping Higher Fast within 2 short weeks, gain at least 8-12 inches on your vertical jump in 3 months and allow you to reach the upper ceiling of your genetic potential in under 6 months which I find hard to believe. Your Genetic potential in only 6 months I strongly disagree. But, does Serious Ups explosive-jump higher training system really work?

Our  Verdict with this Jump Higher Program

This Jump Higher program is pretty good I can  not really say anything too negative but for this information in this particular program and price does not add up in my book. At $97.00. their are many other Jump Higher programs out there for a fraction of the price that will give you the same results. And for the same amount of money you can easily get a much better jump higher program. In conclusion, we think this Jump Higher program is ok, but the value for your money, not great but a good jump higher vertical leap program.

Jump Soles or Stength Shoes
Let me start by saying this article is purely my opinion. I have made the conscious choice to not look up or use any research or studies on this matter, this purely what I know in my own research and life experiences! However, it is the opinion a former basketball player that have personally used this type of technology to Jump Higher Fast. So it is definitely valid and most certainly accurate. When using Platform Jump Higher Workout I did increase my vertical jump approximately 12 Inches!!!! By just doing Plyometric exercises. I did not workout my entire body by doing dead lifts or bench press or push ups. Which if I had I would have been able to Jump higher. That where I think the Jump Soles or platform type training lacks because they focus on calf work and not training the whole body! But they do work I am proof of that. If you follow the Jump Higher Programs shipped with these shoes they do work because I have used them in past in High School and College.

Before I talked my older brother to buying the expensive Jump Higher shoes they warned me! Besides most plyometric shoe companies claim that you will jump higher up to 5-10 inches on your vertical" and "take .2 seconds off of your 40 time." My parents taught me when I was very young that if something seems too good to be true… it usually is. Is it possible for you to attain these results? Yeah I did initially when I was 17 years old. Of course it is possible. Is it likely? Probably not always. There is no way a company can even make that claim without knowing your age, your current fitness level, your genetic predispositions, and your jump higher training experience. Yet they make this claim to everyone. Seriously, how can they claim everyone can gain 5-10 inches on their vertical and jump higher. Could your grandma? I know mine couldn’t! Just Kidding just trying to make a point!

If you are 14 years old, in average shape, have good genetics, and have never trained to jump higher before then you may very well make those types of gains in your vertical leap. However, you could make those same (if not better) gains doing a more conventional strength and conditioning program, The Jump Manual or The Jump Development Bible jump higher programs will provide you with this type of results and its about $80.00 to $100.00 cheaper. I will tell you this, if you are 23 years old, already in great shape, have average genetics, and have been seriously training for 4-5 years… you will probably not add 5-10 inches to your vertical, and you definitely won’t "double your vertical or your money back." Why, because you have already closed in on your genetic potential. Can you still make great gains?

Of course you can. Should you still train to improve your vertical and jump higher? Most definitely. Now you can and will be able to Jump higher and make improvements using platform shoes, I would be a fool to argue otherwise. Why? Because you are still training progressively, you just happen to be wearing funny looking shoes while you are doing it! Any training, if done progressively, consistently, and with effort will yield an improvement and allow you to Jump Higher than before. So is using platform shoes better than sitting on the couch? Of course it is! Is it better than a sound, structured, strength and conditioning (and plyo) program? I don’t personally think so.

While people have the right to make whatever claims they want, my main problem with platform shoes is their increased risk of injury. They claim to "build the calf muscles and stretch the Achilles tendon." Yet they do it in a way that drastically increases the potential risk for twisting your ankle or ruptured your Achilles. And which is potentially a career ending one.

It is my own personal opinion that platform shoes are inherently dangerous, full of hype and outrageous claims, and certainly are not the safest or most productive way to increase one’s vertical jump. After training in these shoes my Achilles tendon would ache so bad sometimes I could not walk the next day. Little did I know I was putting my own self at risk. Because these shoes do overstretch your calves quite considerably. Their is other Jump Higher programs that are sensible, safe, and cheaper and is the way to go if you ask me! The prices and their is just to much risk involves! I mean I would never let my son wear those shoes like his stupid dad did LOL!
